Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party service that provides results. Hutto Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may record routine log information, including an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that data in aggregate for site operation and traffic patterns. Cookies or comparable tools can support basic analytics and, if used, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use limited data to run the service, diagnose problems, measure aggregate visits, and improve its information. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles.
Outside Links and Services
The directory links to Texas and Williamson County portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. A destination’s own privacy policy governs information submitted there. This includes sponsored results supplied by a third-party provider.
Who Might See Your Data
Vendors that host or support the service may process logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers can receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise permitted by law.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles maintained by Hutto Residents Directory.
Users Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor provided information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, provides covered-business rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out in specified circumstances. Because this service keeps very little, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and available logs, then removing material that applies. Use the contact page to ask. Government records held by Texas, Williamson County, or Hutto remain under the relevant custodian’s control.
Updates to This Policy
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after publication of a revised version means that version applies.
